10 times of HSK Tests are held per year around the whole world, according to the test schedule issued by Hanban, Tongji HSK Test Center publicizes the test schedule after the authorization.

On-line Registration
After logging on the registration Chinese Tests Service website . Choose Tongji HSK Test Center and Test Date, fill in the personal information and upload the electronic photo (Specifications of electronic photo file-- Format JPG/GIF/PNG; File size: below 100KB) then deliver after confirmation.
On-site Payment
After on-line registration, the test taker should pay the test expenses at Tongji HSK Test Center before the deadline. The registration could be affected only after expenses payment and test taker then have access to test confirmation and test admission notice print, etc.
If there is any difficulties in on-line registration, 1:30-5:00pm , one week before the corresponding deadline, you could come to HSK Test Center-International School of Tongji University (Room103, No.2 Teaching Building at No.67 Chifeng Road, Shanghai ) to pay the registration fee. Please take the original and copy version of passport, recent bareheaded photo with white background (the backside of photo writes the test taker’s Chinese name, test level, passport number. Photo is not necessary for HSK Level One to Three) and registration fee.
2. Tips
1) The test taker shall remember the registered user and password on first entry to the website to facilitate next steps, on-line registration, personal information modification, test admission ticket print, etc.
2) The test taker from Korea and Japan shall input the capital letters of English name on passport on the item “Certificate Name”
3) The electronic photo that the test taker upload must be recent bareheaded photo with white background; black-white photo or color photo is available, showing the head and the upper part of shoulder of the test taker, photos of any other patterns are forbidden or it would affect the manufacture of HSK transcripts.
4) Chinese minority nationalities and Chinese government scholarship students could take the test for free, once per year, whose identity certificate, original and copy version of Chinese government scholarship must be taken to register.
5) After the successful registration, the test taker can receive the confirmation information around 15 days prior to the test date, and may log on the registration website to print the test admission ticket, or take the test admission ticket at Tongji HSK Test Center.
The test taker shall carefully check whether the information on the test admission ticket is accurate and correct after receiving it. The name, gender, birth date and ID card number on the test admission ticket must be consistent with those on the valid certificate, otherwise the test taker shall be refused to take part in the exam.
If the information on the test admission ticket is wrong, please do not alter it without authorization. After the chief examiner verifies that the information is really wrong on the test date, the test taker may alter it under the chief examiner’s supervision; and the examiner shall affix his/her signature on the test admission ticket for certification, otherwise his/her exam shall be rendered invalid.
The test admission ticket is the certificate for entering the test room to take the test, and shall be kept by the test taker after the exam. The test admission ticket shall be shown when the test taker asks for or inquires about the score report or certificate. Generally, the number of the test admission ticket shall also be provided to get value added services such as online results enquiry and supplement of score report.
